Shiva tells the story with two voices: one intimately participative, and another subtly distant, observing that everyone moves to a symphony that convinces them they are within 'touching distance' of their promised reality.
 
Busting some MBA myths, while reinforcing others, he emphasises the truth that various paths lead to fulfillment, irrespective of the preeminence of some. The reader sees that the richness of the human experience, however, remains incandescent in the hypnosis of the dream.
 
About the Author
 
'There is a plan bigger than your own. There has to be, when you can't get anything right by yourself.' Shiva Prakash is a writer, musician, poet, keen painter, guitarist, and singer. He manages global Internet products for Yahoo!, one of the world's largest Internet companies. He has an MBA from the ISB and his literary interests are philosophy, spirituality, economics and humour. Shiva lists sky-diving and hiking in Ladakh and on the Pacific Coast as his most liberating experiences. Touching Distance is his debut novel.
